11th Annual Turkey Scramble - Field of Dreams
Event Overview
Welcome to a FAMILY FUN day of racing at Field of Dreams! This is a non-series, non-point event meant to bring riders and families together. Safety is our priority, and by participating, everyone agrees to follow the rules below.
MotoSponder will be used at The Turkey Scramble. All racers are required to use the MotoSponder RFID Strip at this race. Racers can purchase a RFID Sticker for their permanent use, or rent one at each race event.
Riders can purchase a RFID Sticker for $10.
Pre-Registration is highly recommended!
Weekend Gate Fees*:
- Sunday Only Gate Fee: $15
- Weekend Gate Fee (Friday through Sunday): $25
- Weekend Fee is Charged at the gate. If only practicing Friday or Saturday a refund will be issued when you leave.
General Safety and Conduct

Voluntary Participation: All participants, spectators, vendors, and guests voluntarily attend the Turkey Scramble. Field of Dreams is not responsible for injury, personal loss, or damages.

Race Referee: The referee has the authority to make adjustments to rules as necessary for safety, track conditions, or unforeseen events. They may penalize or disqualify riders for reckless behavior.

Track Access: No Spectators are allowed on the track. Only flaggers and EMTs are authorized to assist riders.

Safety Equipment:

Helmets must be DOT-approved and securely fastened with a “D-Ring” fastener.

Eye Protection is mandatory for all participants.

Protective Clothing: Gloves, long sleeves, pants, and knee pads are required.

Boots: Riders must wear sturdy, ankle-high boots.

Dangerous Riding: Intentional reckless riding that endangers others may lead to penalties or disqualification.

Track Boundaries: Riders are expected to stay within 20 feet of the marked course. Cutting the track by riding beyond this limit will result in disqualification.
Start Procedures

Dead Engine Starts: Riders may warm up their engines. A 10-second warning will be issued once the previous line clears the tabletop. When the GREEN flag is raised, start your engine and go!

Multiple Row Classes: Each row will be released after the previous line clears the tabletop, with a 10-second warning given for the next row. Ensure you are in the correct line; incorrect placement may result in disqualification.
Bike Identification

Bike Numbers: Ensure visible numbers are on your bike. Failure to display numbers or a transponder malfunction may prevent accurate scoring.

Visors: If your visor is lost during the race, notify the scoring station as you pass.
Flags & Track Signals

Checkered Flag: Indicates the race is complete.

White Flag: Courtesy flag for the last lap.

Yellow Flag: Caution. No passing or jumping allowed, and all riders must slow down. Violations may result in penalties.

Red Cross Flag: Emergency personnel on course. Yield to medics, maintain position, and no passing or jumping. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.

Red Flag: Race stop for emergencies; races may be considered complete if half or more of the course is completed.

X Markings: Indicates areas of caution; riders should proceed carefully.
Conduct on the Track

Passing and Etiquette: Keep all passes clean and safe.

Finish Line Conduct: No passing or racing through the finish line cones; riders must proceed slowly past the scoring section.

Course Exits and Re-entry: Mechanical repairs are only permitted off-track. Re-enter where you exited to avoid disqualification.

No Bike Switching: Riders cannot switch bikes mid-moto. Each race must be completed with the bike you started with.
Race Results & Protesting

Results Posting: Results will be posted behind the bleachers after each race.

Protest Policy: Protests may be filed for $50 at the tower with Chris. Winning a protest returns the fee; if lost, the fee goes to the protested rider.
Awards and Trophies

Trophy Distribution: Trophies will be awarded to the top riders in each class (1 per 3 riders). If we run out, leave your contact details, and we’ll ship your trophy.
Additional Reminders

Radio Station: Tune in to 87.9 FM for updates.

Track Conditions: Watch out for stumps, roots, and wet leaves on the track.
